Okay --- here’s the plain unvarnished truth:
I’ve been doing this Voiceover Thing for a while now.
Do not ask me to define ‘while now’, but you can safely
surmise it’s more than 15 years. (HELLO!)
I have been through WHO’S CONNIE ZIMET,
GET ME CONNIE
ZIMET, GET ME A YOUNG CONNIE
ZIMET, bypassed
WHO’S CONNIE ZIMET and ( thank you Lord!)
have come
full circle back to GET ME CONNIE ZIMET!!!
I credit giving
up smoking for the fact that my voice is younger and healthier now
than it was 15 years ago’. I’m versatile as hell, have a good
sense of humor (great actually), the ability to improvise whenever
…a built-in clock (excellent for cutting those tenths of seconds)
PLUS
I’ve been a
working actor since the age of 8 and was also a successful NY
studio/jingle singer so I got rhythm! (And
musicality.)
Best of all, I’m really nice, easy to work
with (modest too) and even though I’ve been a copywriter and
producer and casting director and voice acting coach and pretty
much still do most of that stuff…(and a bunch of other stuff) I will
NOT critique or re-write your copy unless asked! I might however,
stick my 2 cents in if we’re having direction problems,
but this is a
good thing.
